Three Copy Polish Orders and Decorations. Including: Insignia of the Order of the White Eagle; Breast Star of the Order of Wolyn , and the 1863 Insurgent's Medal (unnumbered). This 1970s copy of the badge of the Order of the White Eagle consists of a 3" gold Maltese cross enameled in red with white enamel outline and golden rays between the arms. A white enamel crowned eagle with spread wings, facing left (the coat-of-arms of Poland) is superimposed on the cross. The reverse is enameled in red with white enamel outline and golden rays between the arms. The motto of the order, ("For Fatherland and Nation"), appears on the arms of the cross. the central disc is in white enamel, with the monogram "RP" (Rzeczpospolita Polska) surrounded by a green enameled oak wreath. Today the order continues to exist in only one grade. The order is awarded to those who have made an exceptional contribution to Poland. Recipients may be Polish citizens or foreigners. The copy of the breast star of the Order of Wolyn is thin brass construction with a screw-back and and enameled cross in the center. The enamel is chipped on the lower arm. The copy of the 1863 Insurgent's Cross is well constructed in silver and enamel, but is unnumbered.
