Description
Uberti Single Action Army "Doc" Holiday Tribute Revolver. Cal. .45. 43999. 7½" round barrel. Finished in a deep, gloss blue accented with scrollwork and vignettes highlighted in gold and silver. The right side of the frame features a small vignette of Holliday in a card game; on the left, Holliday in a gunfight with Frank McLaury at the O.K. Corral. The chamber of the cylinder bears an attractive design representing the four suits of a deck of playing cards highlighted in silver and gold. The cylinder is captioned "Doctor John Henry Holliday. Born 14, August, 1851: Spalding, Georgia. Died 8 November, 1887. Glenwood Springs, Colorado". The left side of the barrel is inscribed in gold "Doc Holliday" and the right side with his famous words to Johnny Ringo "I'm Your Huckleberry". The grips are faux ivory, each etched with an illustration of Doc. With the number 84 (of 200) stamped on the underside of the frame. This impressive revolver is in superb condition and is offered with a locking wooden and glass display case. The case retains the key but is missing the playing cards that were originally issued with the set.
