Description
Vintage Six-Piece German Fort Play Set With Added Cannon, Machine Gun, and Nineteen Composition Soldier Figures. Though the maker is unknown (possibly Lineol), this six piece trench play set is well-made and features similarly constructed sections that can be assembled into a trench line with a dugout. Each section is about 5.5" x 6". Included, but not original to the set, are three tin cannons and a "Edor" MG-08 Maxim machine gun (not to scale). Nineteen assorted composition soldier figures have been included in the lot. The soldiers are mainly Elastolin and Lineol types and feature marching troops and two prone machine gunners. The set and accompanying cannons, machine gun, and figures are in generally good to very good condition, the figures with some fading, cracking, and moderate playwear.Auction Info
