Description
Lot of Five Horse-Drawn German Military Tin-Toy Wagons. Includes: 1) Camouflaged field kitchen (Feldküche) drawn by a team of composition horses with two seated composition figures which may not be original to the set. The overall length is approximately 11". The firebox door and upper lid are hinged and may be opened and closed. Very good condition. 2) Camouflaged covered wagon drawn by a pair of composition horses and with one mounted composition soldier figure which may not be original to the set. Approximately 8.5" overall. Very good condition. 3) Gray tin ambulance wagon (Sanitätswagen) drawn by a pair of composition horses, with one composition rider figure which may not be original to the set. Approximately 9" overall length. The cloth shades are still present but the ambulance has come apart from the wagon tongue (an easy repair). The gray paint is scuffed and the wagon generally displays moderate play wear, otherwise it is in good condition. 4) Military wagon drawn by a pair of composition horses with one composition rider figure which may not be original to the set. Approximately 9" in overall length. The wagon retains the cloth covering and features an opening and closing rear door. The harness connection is missing from the wagon tongue, otherwise it is in very good condition. 5) Camouflaged covered wagon drawn by two composition horses with a seated composition driver figure and a composition rider figure (figures may not be original to the set). Approximately 10" in length. Very good condition. The lot is accompanied by a single composition rider and horse figure which is in very good condition. It is possible that some of the horse teams are not original to the wagon they accompany. But visually they pair up quite well.Auction Info
