Description

SKYLAB

Skylab III (SL-4) Flown American Flag on Presentation Certificate with Original Letter of Transmittal. A 5.75" x 4" cloth U.S. flag on a 10.5" x 13.5" (sight size) certificate presented to Konstanty Kebalka "in appreciation of your role in the success of the Skylab Program. This flag was taken to the Workshop by the Skylab III Astronauts November 17, 1973 - February 8, 1974." Signed at the bottom by Kurt Debus. Included is the original NASA letter to the recipient dated May 1, 1975, and signed by Lee Scherer. Framed to an overall 12" x 15". Very fine.
