Description
Apollo 11 Original NASA Glass Slide, an Image of the Lunar Plaque, Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, Certified and Encapsulated by Collectibles Authentication Guaranty. A 2" square (sight size) early generation positive transparency, NASA image AS11-40-5899, mounted in a hand-numbered 4" x 3.25" glass slide. A close-up view of the plaque which the Apollo 11 astronauts left on the moon in commemoration of the historic lunar landing mission. The plaque was attached to the ladder on the landing gear strut and read, in part: "We Came in Peace for All Mankind". Extremely rare and desirable. Excellent, sealed in a numbered archival holder.
