Scarce Group of Medical/Surgical Saws C. 1860. The group includes: a 12"overall saw with pivoting top rib and one piece rosewood handle marked Evans & Co. / ( ) Stamford St. / London, in perfect condition; a 7 1/4" overall saw with German silver top rib and checkered ebony handle. Hairline where the blade attaches with two brass pins, else excellent; An early, probably C. 1820, 6 3/4" saw with handle, using ebony plaque grips, attached at the top. Marked Arnold & Sons London, excellent condition; a chain saw with checkered ebony handles, the saw itself 13 3/4" , in perfect condition; a pair of 3" saws, 8" overall, set at 45 degree angles. One with teeth on top, the other with teeth on the bottom. Checkered ebony plaque grips, in perfect condition and marked J. Reynders & Co. Fine group with several very scarce instruments.
