Description

Inscribed Wood Walking Stick from the Battlefield of Seven Pines. The natural curled vine wood walking stick measures 37.25" long. On the shaft, near the top, the stick is inscribed in ink, "Cut in the center of 7 Pines Battle field where 15000 soldiers were killed May 31st & June 1st, 1862. Battle fought by Lee & McClellan. Battle field guide J. F. Lyne." The stick is in excellent condition and the inscription is bold and readable.
