Description
Superb Condition Circa 1845 White Buff U.S. Artillery Saber Belt. Thick white buff leather belt, 1 5/8" wide, Utilizes the M1839 US two piece interlocking artillery plate. A very heavy, sturdy casting. 1 1/8" wide saber slings with all brass furniture. Overall the set is in near perfect condition. A few initials/numbers printed in ink inside the belt and on the underside of the long saber sling. Really a stunning US issue belt set and the first example we've encountered.Auction Info
