James McDivitt 1971-dated Typed Letter Signed Mentioning the Apollo 1 Crew. One page TLS on NASA letterhead dated November 17, 1971, to Harold W. Davis, Sr, of Wapakoneta, Ohio (Neil Armstrong's home town), in part: "I would like to thank you for sending me a copy of your poem honoring astronauts Grissom, White, and Chaffee. I enjoyed reading it..." Signed at close in blue ink: "James A. McDivitt". Included with this lot is a copy of the RR Auction COA. Mailing folds and paperclip indentations, very fine.Auction Info
