Gemini 5: Neil Armstrong Smokes a Cigar during a Flight Briefing Shown in a Vintage NASA Color Photo, Originally from Gordon Cooper's Personal Collection. An original 10" x 8" chromogenic glossy print on Kodak fiber-based paper bearing the "A Kodak Paper" watermark on the verso, image S-65-28703. Crewmembers Pete Conrad and Gordon Cooper also shown along with John Young and Elliot See. Armstrong was backup command pilot for this mission, See was backup pilot. Noted on the verso in pencil: "CB [astronaut office]/ Cooper". An uncommon photo. Very fine.Auction Info
