Accompanied by an autograph note on Mamie Doud Eisenhower's personal stationery, dated June 19, 1970, it reads: "Dear Jeff - Hope this book / will help you / while away the / long hours when / you are in / traction - / Good / luck - / Mamie Eisenhower". A note accompanying the lot explains this book came from the estate sale of the local attorney who handled President Eisenhower's affairs while he was at his farm in Gettysburg.Auction Info
