Large English Screwbarrel Boxlock Flintlock Pocket Pistol by Preston. .69 caliber, 2 3/4-inch round screw barrel with decorative ribbing at muzzle. English proofs. Large, robust boxlock action, the left side engraved with stand of flags and legend:??ONNY/PRESTON. Right side engraved with stand of flags. Sliding safety. Engraved steel triggerguard. Varnished slab walnut grip. Condition: Fair to good. Metal cleaned to bright finish with wear and scattered light pitting. Wood with light wear and marks. Action crisp and sharp.Auction Info
