Apollo 11: "Splashdown Party" Program with "First Man On The Moon" First Day Cancellation. A 20" x 13" (opened) folder on buff stock for a party held at The Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., on September 9, 1969, given by the Apollo Program Office. The front cover bears the mission insignia and the lunar plaque is shown on the back. All three crewmembers attended; Joe Garagiola was the M.C. and a host of NASA luminaries made remarks.
