A massive 250-page 8" x 10.5" staplebound cardstock-covered book published to inform the worldwide press of all aspects of this first "Lunar Landing Mission." Just about anything you'd want to know about this then-upcoming mission is in this book: Countdown, Launch, Recovery, Television and Photography, Lunar Description, the Saturn V, the Crew, Lunar Experiments, Launch Complex 39, the Manned Spaceflight Network, and the Apollo Program Management. An interesting period publication. This particular copy was issued to John H. Kimzey, a pioneering expert in spacecraft safety, and we note that he has made several notations throughout the book.
