Description
Richard Gordon Signed Large Apollo 12 "Earth Rising" Color Photo with Extensive Added Comments, includes Photographic Provenance. A 20" x 16" silk finish photo on Kodak Endura paper of a "crescent earth" rising above the lunar horizon. It is signed boldly in silver felt tip: "While Pete Conrad and Alan Bean landing on the Ocean of Storms, I piloted our Command Module 'Yankee Clipper'/ around the moon. I mapped and photographed Fra Mauro and Descartes landing sites for Apollo 14 and 16./ Richard Gordon/ Apollo 12 Command Module Pilot/ November 19-20, 1969". Only the second of these Heritage has offered, the first in five years. An uncommon and beautiful image, perfect for display. Two 8" x 10" photos of him signing these photos included.
