Bob Crippen: Collection of Seven Signed Covers, all Relating to Space Shuttle Columbia (STS-1). All of these philatelic covers are cacheted and cover all aspects of the mission from training to anniversary; cancellation dates range from 1981 to 1991. All are signed: "Bob Crippen", most in blue ink. Crippen was pilot for this important "shake out" flight of the Shuttle program, later flying in STS-7, STS-41-C, and STS-41-G.
