Apollo 11: "Man's First Landing on the Moon" First Day Cover Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. A 6.5" x 3.75" philatelic cover with a 10¢ stamp (Scott #C76), machine cancelled and with a Moon, Kentucky postmark dated September 9, 1969. The cachet is by Artmaster and features Neil Armstrong taking soil samples near the Lunar Lander. Excellent, sealed in a numbered archival sleeve, CAG 1002307-020. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
