Space Shuttle Challenger (STS-41-C) Flown NGC MS 65 Silver Robbins Medallion, Serial Number 16F. This 1.5" diameter slightly odd-shaped sterling silver medal was one of only forty-six flown (of 155 minted) aboard the fifth mission of Space Shuttle Challenger (eleventh Shuttle mission overall) with crewmembers Robert Crippen, Dick Scobee, Terry Hart, James van Hoften, and George Nelson. The reverse also includes the crew's surnames along with the engraved information, Launched "April 6, 1984" and Landed "April 13, 1984 / RW17 Edwards AFB CA". The serial number is on the rim along with the sterling and Robbins hallmarks. Rarely offered, very fine.
