Ex. Gene Cernan

Apollo 10 Flown American Flag Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Lunar Module Pilot Gene Cernan, Signed and Certified, with His Signed Letter of Authenticity, in Framed Display. A 6.25" x 4" cloth U.S. flag signed on the lowest white stripe in black ink: "Flown to Moon on Apollo X 5/69 Gene Cernan". It is archivally double matted with a facsimile-signed printed crew thank you card and framed to an overall 11.5" x 15". Excellent.

Included is a 2000-dated signed Letter of Authenticity on his Cernan's personal letterhead reading, in full: "This letter is to authenticate that this American Flag did accompany me to the moon on Apollo X, May 18-26, 1969. It was carried aboard Command Module, 'Charlie Brown', as it circled the Moon for two approximately days, at times with only John Young aboard, while Tom Stafford and I flew to within 47,000 feet of the surface in our Lunar Module, 'Snoopy'!"
