Description

Wernher von Braun Typed Letter Signed, in Matted Display. One page, June 16, 1964, NASA letterhead, Huntsville, Alabama, to Mr. Frankie Izzo of New Haven, Connecticut. It reads, in full: "Please let me thank you for the opportunity of studying three of your songs. I found them interesting, and I wish you success in any future songwriting endeavors. Thank you again for your thoughtfulness in sending me the songs. [signed] Wernher von Braun" Some quick research shows that Mr. Izzo had a musical composition, Kiss Me Now, that was published by Dover Music, circa 1965. Interestingly, it shows up in the estate collections of both Harry Truman and Ella Fitzgerald! Double matted to an overall 11" x 14". Very fine.
