Description

Ex. James McDivitt

Apollo 9 Flown Silver Charms of the Virgin Mary (Two) Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander James McDivitt, with His Signed Certificates of Authenticity. Two tiny charms as flown on Apollo 9, first space test of the lunar module. His signed COAs explain: "[These] 0.25" blue-lensed silver charm[s] of the Virgin Mary, with one side showing the standing Virgin Mary and the other side featuring an M (for Mary) surmounted by a cross, with two hearts (for Mary and Jesus) below, [were] flown aboard Apollo 9 in Earth orbit, 3-13 March 1969, and [are] from my personal collection." A perfect situation where the buyer can keep one and gift the other to someone of a like faith. Fine.
