Rare flown Sokol glove
British Astronaut Helen Sharman's Flown Right Sokol Spacesuit
Glove from Soyuz TM-12/ Mir/ Soyuz TM-11. A 4.5" x 9" Sokol
glove that was flown aboard Soyuz TM-12 to the Mir Space Station,
returning on Soyuz TM-11, May 18-26, 1991. Sharman's initials are
printed in Cyrillic "Х Ш" in blue at the base of the glove. Sharman
was the first British citizen in space and flew as part of Project
Juno, a collaborative mission between the Soviet Union and a
British consortium of companies. A rarely offered and very
displayable piece of equipment. Fine.
