Description
NASA Manned Flight Awareness Posters: Group of Three Originals Regarding the Apollo 11 Mission. Issued by the Manned Flight Awareness Office at NASA to encourage quality workmanship and boost morale. All are on lightweight cardstock.(1) "I believe this nation should commit..." with a beautiful graphic showing the LM on top of an American flag-draped moon. The quote is credited to John F. Kennedy, May 26, 1961. 14.5" x 20", graphics by Philco-Ford. A rare and desirable poster.
(2) "Precious Cargo..." pictures all three Apollo 11 astronauts. 16" x 21".
(3) "Houston, Tranquility base here..." pictures LM Eagle on the moon, 16" x 21".
Great period display items, perfect for obtaining autographs. All excellent.
