Description
Apollo 11 Lunar Module Flown and Surface-Used Camera Film Leader Strip, Signed and Certified by Richard Underwood and Michael Collins, Directly from the Personal Collection of Michael Collins, CAG Certified. A 5" x 3" index card with a 2.75" x 0.25" strip of film attached by tape. The text reads "Film From The Moon / This Is To Certify That The Attached Film Was Carried / Onboard Apollo 11 On Its Historic Flight To The Moon, / July 16-24, 1969, And Was Carried To The Surface Of The / Moon By Astronauts Armstrong And Aldrin In The Lunar / Module 'Eagle' On July 20-21, 1969." Signed in blue ink by Richard W. Underwood as NASA's Supervisory Aerospace Technologist and in black ink "Michael Collins Apollo XI CMP". A very desirable relic.
