Description
Globalstar Satellite First Launch Handcrafted Model on Base. A unique 1/30 model constructed of wood and mirrors, approximately 14" wide x 7" tall on a wooden base labeled "Globalstar Satellite/ 1st Launch/ February 14, 1998/ Scale 1:30". Marked on the bottom "Handcrafted by Dan Smith". These are low earth orbit satellites used for satellite phones and low speed data communications.
