Description

Animal Hide Gauntlets: A Most Unusual Collection of Five Pairs. Consisting of: 1) Beaver fur, showing only very light wear. 2) Horse hair, mitten format. Palms show moderate wear and use. 3) Seal skin, with wear from much use. A tag inside states that these belonged to WWII General Jonathan Wainwright, and were purchased from his estate. 4) Muskrat fur, with good indication of use. 5) Buffalo "fur," also with good indication of use.
With the exception of the seal skin pair, all are in excellent condition. Average length is 12 to 15 inches.
