[Robert Mims]. FBI Wanted Posters (5) Relating to the Black Mafia.
Each measuring 8" x 8"

Five posters including two for Robert Mims (for Bank Robbery), Robert Fitzgerald Vickers (for Interstate Flight - Attempted Murder), Roger Allen Bowman (for Interstate Flight - Murder), and Jerry Dunigan (for Interstate Flight - Attempted Murder, Rape, Aggravated Battery, and Burglary). Each wanted poster includes mugshots of the suspects, along with their fingerprints, descriptions, criminal records, etc. All four men had some affiliation with the Black Mafia in either Philadelphia, Chicago, or New York. The group began around the late 1960s by Samuel Christian, but did not reach the height of its operations until the mid-70s. They mainly ran their organization by selling illegal drug, and illicit business deals. The group was responsible for over 40 murders, along with numerous other crimes.

Condition: Some edges uneven. Mounting residue stains in places at edges. One of the Mims posters has a blue ink mark across one of the mugshots, along with some white residue.
