Matthew Clarkson Letter Signed. One page of a bifolium, 6 3/8 x 8 inches, [Philadelphia]; March 2, 1796. A brief letter to Comptroller General John Donaldson, enquiring about the price of land in the city. Signed, "Matth Clarkson."

In large part: "Will you be pleased to inform me at what prices the Barrack Lots N 15 on Second Street, and N 53 on Green Street sold at, and what is the amount now due on each of them to the state."

Condition: Lightly toned with smoothed folds. Pinhole through the center of the bifolium, not touching text. Remnants of previous mounting and red sealing wax on page four. Docketed on page four.
