Description

Declaration of Independence Signer Charles Carroll of Carrollton Letter Signed. One page, 8 x 10 inches, Baltimore; March 21, 1830. A brief letter to "Messrs Will'm & James Brownlee," asking them to make a payment for him. Signed, "Ch. Carroll of Carrollton."

In large part: "I have requested Mrs Jackson of your city to make some purchases...I beg you will have the kindness to pay her for the same when account is presented."

Condition: Lightly toned. Mat burn near the top center. A few stray ink marks at the signature. Remnants of previous mounting on the verso.
