In full [English translation]: "Your Majesty having been pleased to inform me of the birth of the Prince, of whom the Queen, his Spouse, has been happily delivered, I hasten to testify to her how sincerely I share the satisfaction which this new increase of the Royal House gives you. I beg Your Majesty to be persuaded that these sentiments are dictated by the very particular interest which I take in it, and by the esteem and perfect friendship, with which I am." Signed, "Frederic."
