Description

James Monroe Land Grant Signed "James Monroe". One partially printed page on vellum, 16.25" x 9.75", Washington, D.C.; December 26, 1821. Certificate No. 352, the document grants "Thomas Wallace of the State of Ohio...the east half of the South east quarter, of Section twenty four, in township one, South of the Base line, of Range thirteen, in the district of Delaware and State of Ohio, containing Eighty Acres." With a blind embossed paper seal. Countersigned by Josiah Meigs as Commissioner of the General Land Office. Docketing on verso.

Condition: Light toning and moderate foxing throughout. Flattened folds. There is a small tear at the lower center edge.
