Andrew Johnson Autographed Endorsement Sign, Mounted and Framed Alongside Photographs and Signatures of Lincoln's Cabinet. "Referred to the Sec. of State for consideration. Andrew Johnson". Framed to overall size of 16" x 20.5". Center features photographs of Lincoln, Johnson, and Cabinet. Includes signatures of Edwin M. Stanton, Horatio King, Simon Cameron, Gideon Welles, James Speed, Edward Bates, Caleb B. Smith, John Palmer Usher, Hugh McCulloch, Montgomery Blair, Salmon P. Chase, Hannibal Hamlin, William H. Seward, William Dennison, James Harlan, George Harrington, John Hay, Reuben D. Mussey, Jr., and John Adams Dix.Condition: Toned throughout, with dampstaining top right. Slight silvering to albumens. Handwriting in ink and pencil is bold and clear.
