1893.LIMITED EDITION, one of 500 copies printed on paper, from a total edition of 510. Octavo. Printed in red and black, with decorative woodcut borders and initials. Original limp vellum, green silk ties, spine lettered in gilt.
Condition: Vellum faintly soiled, rear cover lightly stained. Bookseller notations to endleaves, printed ownership label of noted gourmet book collector and theatre producer Crosby Gaige and armorial bookplate of Alexander M.H. Udnut to front pastedown. Faint offsetting throughout, otherwise internally clean and bright.
