Stephen King. The Eyes of the Dragon. Bangor, ME: Philtrum Press, 1984. Limited edition of 250 copies numbered in red for private distribution, of which this is number 235. Signed and inscribed by the author to the title page, "For Glenn Lord - / with best wishes - hope you like this little story. / Stephen King / 12/20/84." Folio. 314 pages. Illustrated by Kenneth R. Linkhaüser. Red boards backed in black cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Corners just rubbed. Grey endpapers. Internally clean and tight; a touch of very light, scattered soiling to edges. Housed in matching red and black slipcase, as issued; slipcase with minor edgewear. Near fine or better.A beautiful copy of this scarce limited edition, inscribed to Glenn Lord. Lord was a colleague of King's former literary agent, Kirby McCauley, and is noted by family as having met King on several occasions while on business in New York City. From the estate of Glenn Lord, noted literary agent and bibliographer of author Robert E. Howard.
