Description
Franklin D. Roosevelt: Typed Letter Signed as Governor with Christmas Sentiment. One page, 8" x 10.5", on "State of New York, Executive Chamber, Albany" imprinted letterhead. Dated December 19, 1931, it reads: "Dear Jack: That is delightful about the first day covers of the new Washington series. They will be a great addition to my collection. When I was at Warm Springs I had a real chance to play with my stamps. Do be sure to run in to see me if you come on a visit to up-state New York. In the meantime, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Very sincerely yours, Franklin D. Roosevelt."Condition: Flattened folds. Slight toning.
