Thomas Jefferson: Oil on Canvas Portrait. 27" x 34" oil on canvas depicting the Founding Father holding a quill pen, symbolic of his authorship of the Declaration of Independence. Signed in the lower right corner "Franklin Barber Clark". Approximately eight patch repairs, visible on verso. Framed to an overall size of 34" x 41". Fairly well-done... a sensitive portrait. Might benefit from a light cleaning. Circa 1920.
