Description

Benjamin Harrison et al: Four Ceramic Plaques. These plaques feature Benjamin Harrison, Levi Morton, and Grover Cleveland. The Cleveland example has a brass frame. A fourth plaque is in support of Dwight D. Eisenhower and reads, "Ike and Dick in Fifty Six" with a dapper roller skating elephant. These examples measure approximately 6" x 6.125". Makers' marks at the back include "C. Pardee. Works. Perth Amboy. N.J."; "Union Pottery Co Trenton NJ"; and "ATCO."

Condition: The Cleveland ceramic has crazing, light scuffing, and a small chip in the bottom right corner where the brass frame has minor separation. The Harrison and Morton examples have crazing and light chipping at the edges, with scattered minor discoloration. The Eisenhower plaque has a couple of small chips on the left edge.
