Description

Grover Cleveland et al: Group of Eight Assorted Metal Badges. A fine selection of eight quality pinback badges. The largest at 3" wide is an elaborate Cleveland/Democracy brass pinback with die-cut portrait mounted against a light blue fabric, dated 1884-1888. Another standout in this group is a 2" long brass badge with plumed knight, crossed rifles, Forty Rounds cartridge box, inscribed,"Erie Co Vet Logan Legion". Three fine inaugural badges are included for Harrison & Morton, McKinley & Roosevelt, Taft & Sherman. These are accompanied by an attractive 2" brass McKinley-Hobart, Sound Money/Protection badge with star-shaped die-cut and encircling wreath. Lastly, a matched pair of 1 1/2" Cleveland and Harrison shell badges.

Condition: Each of the eight badges is in very good to excellent condition.
