Description

John F. Kennedy: 1960 Democratic National Convention Placard. Measuring 26" x 22", the bold green text reads, "New Hampshire/ First in the Nation for/ Kennedy." A border of two rows of stars is present across the top and bottom. Pinholes, possibly from previous staples, are barely visible at the bottom and left edges and down the center from "Hampshire" to beneath "Kennedy." A minor gray scuff mark is present toward the left of the bottom edge near a tiny gouge, and the bottom left corner has extra wear. The two top corners have some minor creasing, and the back shows signs of old adhesive residue. Some light scratching and toning are present, but the ink remains bright and attractive. Overall, this piece is in very nice condition and maintains its bold appearance. No minimum bid. From the J.Doyle Dewitt Collection.
