James A. Garfield: Flag Banner. "General James A. Garfield" is pictured at the center of this vertically formatted 17.25" x 23.25" striped banner. Garfield's portrait is encircled by stars, and a shield appears above and below reading, "Shield of U.S. America." Hemmed on left and right sides.Condition: Some staining at the center across Garfield's portrait and old fold lines are present. Pinholes are in the top and bottom corners on the left side, and the top left corner has a small tear. Minor toning of the fabric, but the red and blue colors remain vibrant.
