Description

Grant & Wilson: The Very Tough 1872 Currier Grand National Banner. Issued only in black and white, this example and the Greeley & Brown mate are among the key pieces in the popular 1844 to 1876 Currier series. This is a terrific example with very wide borders, its only weakness is a light water stain at the upper left. Only perhaps the third example we have handled in 40 plus years. 14" x 18 1/4" as framed.
