Description
John C. Frémont: Pair of Ribbons. (1) This cream-colored example measures 2" x 6.75" and features a portrait of John C. Frémont at the center. Text reads, "Deerfield/ Fremont/ Club,/ No. 11." (2) This 2" x 6.5" ribbon sports a nice blush pink and features Frémont at the center. Accompanying text reads, "Woonsocket/ Fremont Club./ Fremont/ And/ Freedom."Condition: The Deerfield ribbon has some foxing and light wrinkling, with slight tearing and loss to the top edge. The Woonsocket ribbon has minor staining at the top and left edges, and an old fold line can be seen across the center.
