Johnny Baker & Della Ferrell: Assorted Photographs. Group of items that were part of the Johnny Baker archive we sold in our October 2, 2017 sale. 1) Cabinet card of Della in her fineries, by Camille Brion of Marseille, with presentation inscription at top to Buffalo Bill Cody himself ("To Papa Cody from Della."). 2) Cabinet card of an older Della by Naegeli of New York. 3) Cabinet card of a dapper Baker by Place of Chicago. 4) Cabinet card of Della in costume, wearing her medals, by Stacy of Brooklyn (just the photo and top layer of the mount which apparently peeled off at some time). 5) Cabinet card of Della, her mother and sister by Camille Brion of Marseille. 6) Cabinet card of Della wearing Western hat by Camille Brion of Marseille. 7) Oval velvet-covered metal photographic case containing a portrait of a smiling Della as well as a postage-stamp version of the same portrait done by Imperial Mansions Artistic Photo Company of London.
