Andrew Jackson: Chromolithograph Portrait by E.C. Middleton. This piece features a somber-looking Andrew Jackson, his stark black and white attire dramatic against a taupe-colored background. The lower back of the piece reads, "Warranted Oil Colors./ Entered according to Act of Congress, in the year1865, by E.C. Middleton, is the Clerk's Office of the District Court for the Southern District of Ohio./ Published By/ E.C. Middleton & Co./ Cincinnati, O." A lovely gold-colored oval frame houses the chromolithograph, decorated with petite floral accents and attractive borders. The sight size measures 13" x 16" and the overall dimensions are approximately 19.5" x 22.5". Overall, this is a very nice display piece.Condition: There is very light spotting to Jackson's clothing, with additional spotting to the back of the piece. The frame has wear and cracks throughout, with minor loss near twelve o'clock and six o'clock. This has not been inspected outside of the frame.
