Description
[Woman's Suffrage] Group of Five Suffrage Ribbons, Pennant, and Sash. A nice assortment of four fabric items and a paper pennant for the woman's suffrage movement. Three small ribbons: a 1 1/2" x 5" gold, white, and purple silk inscribed "Womans Party"; a 1 1/2" x 4 1/4" black on gold silk inscribed "Votes for WOMEN"; a 2 1/4" x 5 3/4" "Precinct Worker/Votes For Women/Oct. 10, 1911." All three are in very good to excellent condition. A bright yellow felt sash 1 1/2" x 23 1/2" with "Votes For Women" is in excellent condition. Lastly, a superb paper pennant measuring 3" wide x 13" long printed with "VOTES For WOMEN" rounds out this special group. Any of which would make a great centerpiece in a frame of suffrage buttons.Auction Info
