Description
Abraham Lincoln et al: Back-to-Back Ferrotypes. 1) AL-1864-97, 25mm gilt brass shell. 2) GMcC-1864-52, 23mm brass and fabric. 3) Similar to HS-1868-32, 22mm brass, but inscribed on the obverse "Laws & Flag. Union. Constitution."Condition: #1. Lincoln portrait has scattered pitting and peripheral chipping, but clear & sharp portrait. Johnson portrait nearly all gone. #2. Pendleton portrait has a drop of resin on his nose. McClellan portrait visible, but dark with crazing. #3. Both portraits clear, but with black marks and deep scratch above Blair.
