World War I: A Pair of Navy Recruitment Posters By James Montgomery Flagg. Two identical posters each measures 10.5" X 14", titled "Navy! Uncle Sam is Calling You!," with artwork by James Montgomery Flagg. This is a variation of one of the most famous American political posters ever produced - the iconic "I Want You!" Uncle Sam Army recruitment poster, designed by Flagg, which appeared on the cover of the July 6, 1916 issue of Leslie's Weekly.Condition: Two unrestored posters that display signs of use. Light edge wear with small tears, minor smudges. Overall each poster displays is in very fine condition.
