Civil War: Identification / Dog Tag of Pvt. David Keller, Co. G Pennsylvania Volunteers. 28mm, brass. Civil War soldier's identification tag belonging to Private David Keller. He enlisted on August 28, 1861 as a Private and was mustered into "G" Co. Pennsylvania 105th Infantry on the same day. He was mustered out as a Corporal on July 11, 1865 at Washington, D.C. The regiment, also known as the "Wildcat Regiment" fought in major battles including: The Siege of Yorktown, The Battle of Williamsburg, Battle of Fair Oaks, The Seven Days Battles, Second Battle of Bull Run, Battle of Gettysburg and several others.

Condition: Bright and quite legible with hints of original gilt remaining.
