Description

Grouping of Convention Delegate Badges. These forty-one badges range from a gorgeous 1904 example with metallic fringe to a 1984 badge sporting a wonderful elephant. All but one are from a Republican National Convention, that one being a Women's Committee Sesquicentennial badge from 1926. There's a nice variation of sizes, with the smallest examples measuring 1 3/8" x 3" and the largest measuring 2 1/2" x 11". Colors range from patriotic to deep emerald to royal purple. Hangers bear labels including, "Delegate," "Assistant Sergeant At Arms," "Headquarters Staff," "Host Committee," and more.

Condition: Metal components have light tarnish and expected wear. The fringe on the 1904 badge has some bare thread visible. Scattered pin holes, wear, and light fraying are scattered throughout the ribbons, with the majority in very good condition. Overall, a wonderful collection for a display.
